This video explains how this Roberto Carlos score — dubbed “the Impossible Goal” — is a wonder from the perspective of physics.
I was walking downtown Montreal with a friend of mine and we came across a crowd on the sidewalk. We could see TV cameras and a car pulling up with a big box in the trunk. The driver had an NHL shirt and a few people were wearing Penguins jerseys. I knew Maxime Talbot of the Pittsburg Penguins was in town with the Cup so we stayed and were able to see it!
I was quick enough to film it too!
